ICE COURSES 2012
1 day basic course on ice - Val Senales glacier
Date: from july to september
This is a 1 day program designed to teach you the basics of glacier travel and crevasse rescue. This course is scheduled during the summer season and can be arranged with custom dates. Maximize your experience into the alpine backcountry of the Ötztaler group. We practice a going with crampons, use of rope and pickaxe.
- Required: hikers of good fitness, free from giddiness, sure–footed
- Date: on request, from 9 am to 4 pm
- The rate includes: tecnical equipment
- Price: € 90,- (cablecar not included)
- Minimum number of participants: 3 persons
Weekend basic course on ice with sumit
for beginner and advanced
Date: saturday and sunday from july to september, and on request
This is a 2 day program designed to teach you the basics of glacier travel and crevasse rescue. This course is scheduled during the summer season and can be arranged with custom dates. Maximize your experience and learning by heading overnight into the alpine backcountry of the Ötztaler group. On these excursions we practice snow skills, glacier travel, camp craft and much more. Take this opportunity to immerse yourself in the mountains and encounter a wide range of techniques, challenges and rewards.

- Start: 8.45 am at the cable car valley station - Val Senales glacier
- Summit: Finailspitze 3516 m
- The rate includes: tecnical equipment
- Price: € 290,- with 2 persons / € 210,- with 3 persons(cablecar and accomodation not included)
- Minimum number of participants: 2 - 5 persons
