VENEZIASPITZE (3386 m)

 

Tuesday:

BASIC COURSE IN ROCK CLIMBING

for children from 7 to 14 years

The small, but noble climbing garden called 'Burgstollknott'in Partschins is suitable for beginners. You will learn climbing techniques on rock, get familiar with knots and we practice abseiling as well as belay techniques. It is an ideal day especially for children and teenagers with no previous experience required.

CLIMBING TOUR AT THE PARTSCHINS WATERFALL

Feel the power of the water with all your senses while participating in an unforgettable climbing tour at the Parcines Waterfall. The climbing tour leads you along the 100 meter high incline of the Partschins Watefalls. Enjoy a vivid experience of nature offering fascinating impressions.

 

 

Wednesday:

FINAILSPITZE (3516 m)

over the Hauslabjoch

to the famous Hauslab Joch we start in the Schnalstal and up to the glacier with the cable car (at 3200 meters). After an easy climb we reach in approx. 2,5 - 3 hours the top, and 1 time later the Haulabjoch where the Ötzi mummy was found (approx. 5000 years old glacier mummy). Descent to the Similaun hut and trough the Tisen valley to the Vernagt lake.

BASIC COURSE IN ROCK CLIMBING

We will spend one day in our climbing area in Partschins. You will learn climbing techniques on rock, get familiar with knots and we practice to abseiling as well as belay techniques. This course is offered throughout the summer season with no previous experience required.

MOUNTAIN BIKE TOUR

Half day tour on the Vigiljoch to the Black Lake and about 1500 m downhill to Lana

 

 

Thursday:

PHOTOTOUR SULDENSPITZE (3376 m)

easy for beginners

Our trekking tour across the Suldenferner glacier starts at the uphill station of the Sulden cable-car. Perfectly protected by the ropes of your experienced guide you can risk many a glance into the blue shimmering crevasses of this impressing glacier. On the way back you can enjoy fantastic views over the Ortler mountain range, ideal for taking the most intriguing pictures.

 

Friday:

GLACIER TOUR IN THE SCHNALSTAL VALLEY

At the mountain station of the cablecar Grawand starts the tour hike up over the Schnalser glacier to the ice cave. Thanks to the rope of the mountain guide you can risk a view into the blue resplendent glacier crevasse. On the way back, a wonderful panorama with impressive motives for picture taking is offered by the Ötztalergroup. Befor the descent we make a break at the Bella Vista Hut.

VIA FERRATA - DOLOMITES

A via ferrata is a perfect alternative for people who want more than just walking uphill but who don’t fancy the thrill of rock climbing. These iron ladder path allow mountain walkers to follow spectacular routes that would normally have needed considerable climbing skills. An experienced Alpine Guide will go together with you and teach you the basic techniques. This will help you to become skilful in order to enjoy these open walking and scrambling routes in safety.
Every week we offer a different tour of the big range of Via Ferrata in the Dolomites or Garda Lake area: Cirspitzen, Pisciadu, Pösnecker, Sass Rigais, Marmolada, Masare/Rotwand, Sass Rigais, Fennberg, Via dell'Amicizia.

 

 

Saturday:

CEVEDALE (3769 m)

Our glacier tour to the Cevedale glacier starts at the uphill station of the Sulden cable-car. Than by the rope of the mountain guide over the Suldenglacier to the ice-sea pass und on to the Casati hut. 3252 m. After a short break we go on across wide glacier fields und reach after a last steep step the summit.

MOUNTAIN BIKE TOUR

A day trip in the valleys in the surrounding of Merano with some downhill singletrails.

 

Sunday

Climbing in the Rock Park

The climbing courses will take place in one of the many climbing areas around Merano, on natural vertical rock walls. A licenced Mountain Guide will teach knot-, belaying- and climbing techniques on each participant individually, he can evaluate and correct possible mistakes and contribute to make a large progress in climbing.
