ORTLER (3902 m) - - glacier tour for advanced

Ascent the day before to the Payer Hut /aprox. 3 hours from the Langenstein chair-lift). After an easy climb (II-III°) we reach the Tschirfeck. We pass the bear hole and the Lombardi Bivauck and reach then, after crossing the large Ortler-Plateau, the summit.

• Required: difficult glacier tour with climbing section in the II-III grade, very good physical condition necessary
• Duration: approx. 8 hours
• Difference in altitude: 900 mt. starting from hut
• Price: € 225,- for 2 persons, € 380 for 1 person (lodging not included) for UIAGM professional mountain guide and tecnical equipment

WEIßKUGEL (3739 m)

Ascent  the day before  to the Schöne Aussicht hut in the Schnalstal valley (approx. 2 hours). Early in the morning hike to the Teufelsegg and further to the Steinschlagjoch. From here we procede by the rope of the mountain guide to the Hintereisjoch and across a steep snow flank up to the summit. Before reaching the top, there is easy climbing over the ridge for aprox. 20 minutes. The descent goes over the Steinschlagjoch and straight down to Kurzras.

• Duration: approx. 7-8 hours
• Difference in altitude: 1100 mt. starting from the hut

SIMILAUN (3599 m)

Ascent  the day before  to the Similaun hut from the Schnalstal valley (approx. 4 hours). In the morning (8.30 a.m.) your guide will meet you at the hut for the ascento on top of the Similaun.

• Duration: approx. 4- 5 hours from the hut
• Difference in altitude: 600 mt. starting from the hut
